About The Digital Library

Penn's Digital Library uses digital technology to collect, preserve, and provide access to information, to support the research, teaching and public service missions of the University of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to seamlessly integrate digital resources, print and other nondigital resources, and the expertise of our librarian community, into a rich repository of knowledge. The electronic entry point to this repository is The Penn Library Home Page, available on the Web at http://www.library.upenn.edu

On the Digital Library Project Web site, we present a selection of digital library collections, exhibits, and finding aids prepared by Penn digital librarians. The site will also include descriptions of some of Penn's ongoing digital library research and development. We are very interested in collaborating with people outside our own library to build large-scale digital library communities. We hope you find this site useful. If you have questions, suggestions, or comments, please contact us at libsys@pobox.upenn.edu.
