Pardon my ignorance, but aren't there about six different DVD standards
for computer data? Has any one gained ascendance? Or are they all readable
by any computer DVD drive?
Although I have DVD drive, and I play DVD's through my computer, I have
never seen a DVD computer disk, except those used by individuals to back
up their hard drives (in which case they would be "playing" them back on
the same machine they were burned on).
