No, IIUC.  There are lots of different *recordable DVD* standards, but
only one 'normal DVD' standard.  Normal (pressed) DVDs should be playable
anywhere in any drive (unless they've been region-coded and your DVD drive
cares about that).  It's the recordable kind that has all the problems.
I guess PG's DVD will be pressed, and there won't be a problem (but the
viability of that, presumably, depends on production volume).
