I followed all the links I could find and always ended up with a 404 error:

Project Gutenberg Fears No Google
Michael Hart discusses Google's book-scanning effort and the future of
Project Gutenberg, his decades-old quest to create a library of free
electronic books.

Can anyone send me the article?

[Moderator: I've emailed Michael a copy of the article text, as have
others apparently. In a followup, he wrote

"I managed to get a few copies, but, interestinly enough, they
don't seem to be exactly the same. . .I'll work out a final."

If anyone else is having problems with getting to the article, the link

should work for the next few days, though if your mail reader splits
this long URL across a line, you may need to recombine them when
you enter the URL into your Web browser. - JMO]
